We design and make decorative pieces to order, in our own workshop in Bedford.
What we do
Every design is made, handled and revised before it reaches the catalogue. A photograph becomes a design because a person draws it and looks at what came back — nothing is made straight from a picture. Made-to-order pieces are measured before dispatch, and every listing gives the material, the finish and the size, because those are what you are buying.
How we work
When a photograph will not make a good piece, we will say so before you pay. A picture taken from one angle, or in poor light, does not carry the shape we need, and nothing we do afterwards fixes that. The same honesty runs the other way: when what you want is better made some other way — a fixture under repeated load, anything in constant abrasive contact — we will tell you it wants machined metal, because selling you one of ours that wears out helps nobody.
