How it works
Three steps, and you see the price before any of your money moves.
Send us a photograph
Upload it with your name and roughly how big you want the piece. Two or three photos from different angles beat one every time.
We draw it up and check it
The picture becomes a design, and then a person checks whether it is actually going to look like your photograph. That judgement is the part software cannot do.
You approve the design
We send you a picture of the piece, with the price and a lead time. Nothing is made and nothing is charged until you have seen it and said yes.
What makes a good photograph
A phone camera is completely fine. This is about light and angle, not the lens.
Daylight
Near a window, or outdoors. Heavy shadow hides the shape we need to build from.
Level with them
Crouch down. A photo taken from above flattens your pet and loses the posture.
A few angles
Side on is the most useful single shot. Two or three from different sides is better still.
All of them in frame
The whole animal, sharp, against a plain-ish background. Nothing blurred or half hidden.
What you get
A wall-mounted piece in the shape of your pet, with a hook underneath for a lead, and fixings for a plasterboard or masonry wall. The piece holds fine detail — coat texture, the set of the ears, the shape of the face — and we work to get it as close to your photograph as the picture allows. How close depends on what the photograph gives us, which is why the section above matters — and why you see it and approve it before anything is made. Tell us if you want a particular colour and we will say what is possible.
You see it before anything is made
Once your photograph has been drawn up we send you a picture of the piece, and nothing is made until you have approved it. If it does not look like the photograph you sent, say so and we will work on it again or refund you — you are not committed by having asked.
